MATERIAL:
DuraPET 0624 PCR ST in a yellow color

Wire coating made from US based rPET. The DuraPET replaces virgin Nylon 6 as the original wire coating. The DuraPET coating on this wire uses 91% recycled PET Bottles in the main material structure. The DuraPET has more chemical resistance and toughness than the original Nylon 6.  The DuraPET processes, in the extrusion coating process, much easier than the Nylon 6.  The wire is made from recycled material so it made sense to Marine Tech to use a green alternative material, like the DuraPET to coat the wire and make a true “GREEN” product for their customers.
