What materials does PolyVisions work with?
We have the capabilities to work with a wide range of materials, including, but not limited to, Polypropylene, PET, Nylon, TPE, Polycarbonate, Polypropylene, and Polyethylene. We handle many types of additives in pellet, powder, and liquid form.
How do I get a project started with PolyVisions?
Simply submit a brief description of your project using the form on the Contact page of our website. We will then contact you to have a detailed discussion about your requirements. After discussing the project, we will give you an assessment as to how it can fit our capabilities.
What is the minimum order quantity?
As a small business we understand that it takes time for new ideas to grow into large scale business. We accept orders as low as 50 lbs.
What is the post-consumer recycled content (PCR) of your DuraPET PCR™ material?
DuraPET™ 0624 PCR contains up to 91% PCR. The DuraPET™ 1220 PCR material contains up to 85% PCR. The PCR is obtained from recycled bottle redemption enters.
How easy are your DuraPET™ materials to process?
Both DuraPET and DuraPET PCR are very easy to process using conventional plastic processing methods. These include injection molding, extrusion, and blown film.
What materials can the DuraPET™ materials replace?
Both DuraPET™ and DuraPET PCR™ can be replace in applications that are currently using Polycarbonate, ABS, PC/ABS Alloy, PC/PBT Alloy, and Polysulfone.
What enhancements can be made to the DuraPET™ materials?
You can enhance the DuraPET™ materials by adding minerals, glass fiber and other strengtheners. We produce the DuraPET™ and the enhancement additions are almost endless.
