NuPET Plastic Resin

Innovative Crystallized PET Resins

NuPET for nucleation and control of crystallization for PET

NuPET resins offer nucleation and control of crystallization in PET formulations. NuPET can be offered as a master batch used at low levels to accelerate crystallization in customer formulations. NuPET is also available as a fully formulated product for extruded and blown film products tailored for elevated crystallinity and improved heat seal strength. These rapidly crystallizing materials increase processing speeds and heat stability in a wide range of extrusion, blown film, injection molding, and thermoforming applications.

Typical Applications

  • Structural Thermoformed Product
  • Specialty Packaging
  • Extruded Product
  • Multi-Layer Films
  • Heat Stable Injection Molded Product

NuPET Advantages

  • Extreme Durability
  • Good Elongation
  • Impact Resistance
  • High Initial Crystallinity
  • High Thermal Stability in Finished Product
  • High Processing Outputs
  • Can Be Used as a Stand Alone Product or a Master Batch in CPET and Other Material Formulations
  • FDA Food Contact Approved
